Thomas is a good guy and he works hard on various projects. Criticisms of his appearance is pretty low. I've followed him for a while now and he usually has interesting insights into the world. He's also quite engaged in issues regarding his country, Ireland, with other prominent figures like John Waters, which I respect. I also had the opportunity to meet him in person and chat with him and found him to be very courteous. I don't agree with everything he says and the thinks, but that's okay.

I've been on the server when Scharfi and Krupinski are online, and I have seen them with deaths on the scoreboard. I don't think any reasonable person believes them to be invincible. But they are overall good pilots. The thing with your video that annoys me is this proves nothing. That could have been anybody you shot down there is nothing in the video that indicates that it was Scharfi. Most servers on their pages have the ability to pull the flight log including any kills you got. You should have posted that in the description for genuine evidence.

Not all of course, some are good wingmen or are doing the bombing alright. But from my experience, Allies teams are more often seen flying as an actual team. Not once have I seen multiple Sturmoviks get escorted from way above by Yaks or Migs... Whereas the Germans are out there flying blindly in a straight line in their 109s doing jack, putting themselves out there alone to be mangled by Russians. It's also interesting how when I'd join as gunner a couple times when I didn't feel like flying for whatever reason, German players would always despawn when they noticed me, not really seeming to realise the tactical value of a human backseater... Whereas when I'd join in as an A-20 gunner? "Welcome to my A-20", says the pilot. It's like Allied fliers take cooperation more seriously... tho then again it might be more of a WoL thing. Maps in WoL are often all too tiny in terms of actual combat area. Not many opportunities for bombers to strike at weakspots when everyone is in a furball above what is essentially the same small strip of land. Other servers like Finnish, CBOX or TAW aren't nearly as arcadish with their maps.

Thanks for putting out your facecam, as someone considering buying headtracking it was kind of helpful to see this. Kinda weird how there aren't many videos showcasing how it really works or what are its limitations. Now for example, is it possible to set sensitivity and such? I'm a little concerned it'd be weird/uncomfortable to use.

Ive just checked it. The engine overspeeds only when the selector is in the fixed pitch position. The deafult position is constant speed. The switch works perfectly fine for me too

The side skirts are a LOT taller from the inside of the tank - partly covering the turret side hatches - than from the outside.
